Renovating a Victorian home is about more than adding space. It’s about ensuring every new element feels like it has always belonged.
For this Northcote renovation and extension project, Eltcon worked closely with the architect and homeowners to transform the existing residence into a contemporary family home. The project introduced over 150 square metres of additional living space, including a new kitchen, dining area, living room, laundry and bathroom, while carefully preserving the character of the original home.
Built Around The Details
Behind the finished home are countless details that make the renovation feel effortless. From integrating non-square existing walls with new construction, to crafting the curved tiled island, timber-lined living space and custom pocket door, every decision focused on creating a seamless connection between the original Victorian home and its contemporary extension.
